Introducao:
The DM705-CPU128 module has a cross connection capacity of up to 61 lines of 2 Mbit/s each. The SDH drop capacity on each HS-STM-1 interface is 32 VC-12. It can operate on CPU redundancy mode. It can manage up to 24 remote network elements with PPP/Frame Relay protocol.
Caracteristicas:
- Data cross connection capacity of 61 lines (2Mbit/s each one) in 64kbit/s granularity (DSO level).
- SDH drop capacity on each HS-STM-1 interface is 32 VC-12..
- Two (02) CPU128 cards can be installed in the same chassis, thus operating with redundancy. Automatic fail protection;
- The CPU128 is equipped with 24 WAN network interfaces (also called hdlc) and one Ethernet 10/100BaseTx LAN interface.
- External alarms: three external alarm inputs and one output. The severity of each alarm can be configured by the operator;
- Synchronism Options: allows the clock hierarchy definition. This feature allows the operator to define a list of interfaces capable of generate clock to the system in a priority order. It recovers the clock from STM-1, E3, E1, V.35, DSL and FO interfaces;
- Hot Restart: firmware updates can be executed with extremely short data interruption time. Interruption time will depend on the type of installed interfaces and firmware version.
