Introducao:

The DM705-FO interface module is equipped with 1 optical port that can operate with 20M frame (transporting up to 4 E1s) or single E1.

Caracteristicas:

One optical interface per card, according to its model;
Operation over singlemode or multimode optical fibers. SC-PC connectors;
May operate over a single fiber (bidirectional, TX and RX on the same fiber) or over two fibers;
Transmitters: 1310nm or 1550nm Laser Diode, with power options from 0 to -20dBm;
Receptors: PIN photodiode, -35dBm minimum level for a 10-9 BER on singlemode;
The estimated range can be of up to 120Km using the SLx15 optical module. SM13, SS13, SS15, SL13, SL15, SSB13, SSB15, SLB13 and SLB15 optical modules are also available.
Configurable interfaces. It can operate as “Frame 20M”, compatible with DM4E1S (optical modem/mux), or single E1, according to G.704 ITU-T;
Synchronism and optical signal losses are indicated by a LED;
When operating at the 20M Frame mode, up to 4 E1s are available for data cross connection. Compatible with DM4E1S; * It can manage remote equipments through the 20M Frame link and also through the E1 frame;
ALS (Automatic Laser Shutdown);
May operate in redundant links;
It can operate with CPU64 or CPU128
