DATACOM opens its new R&D lab in Santa Cruz do Sul

DATACOM, a Brazilian leader in the development of telecommunications equipment, will expand its Research & Development infrastructure with the inauguration of a new R&D Lab in the city of Santa Cruz do Sul, located 150 km from Porto Alegre.

This will be DATACOM´s fifth R&D site in Brazil where the company already has two facilities in Porto Alegre, one in Curitiba and another one in Florianopolis.

DATACOM, which has partnered with the University of Santa Cruz do Sul - UNISC, will be selecting a local team of qualified Engineers and Computer Scientists for the development of embedded software for its Metro Ethernet Switch product line.
