Datacom, a national leader in the development and manufacture of data communication equipment, will be presenting its lines of switches DM4000 and DM4100 that support SDN – Software Defined Networking – during the next annual meeting of Rede Acadêmica de São Paulo – ANSP (São Paulo Academic Network), set to run from October 30 to November 1, in São Paulo.

Among the products presented is the line of DM4100 Power Over Ethernet Switches, presented in 24 and 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports, in both optic and electric interfaces, with an uplink in 2 10GbE ports.
Management MBA at Datacom

Datacom has signed an agreement with Unisinos for the realization of an MBA program in Management and Leadership. According to Felix Júnior, the company’s HR manager, “the objective is to collaborate in the formation of leaders within the Rio Grande do Sul-based company, with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science”.
Datacom will invest R$ 200 million to cater for the broadband expansion in the country

DATACOM, a Brazilian leader in the development of telecommunications equipment, will expand its Research & Development infrastructure with the inauguration of a new R&D Lab in the city of Santa Cruz do Sul, located 150 km from Porto Alegre.
DM810 completes the SDH line

By launching the DM810, Datacom complements its product line for DM800 multiservice platform. The new product stands out for its compact shape with 1U high, STM-4/1, E1, and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and for its package processing functionalities with GFP mapping and support to VCAT, LCAS, and Switching L2.
PWE3 module in DM4000

The newest DATACOM product to have support to Pseudo Wire TDM is the DM4000, which with its DM4000-PWE3 modules is now an integrator for TDM and Ethernet networks. The PWE3 modules may be inserted both with DM4004 and DM4008 chassis and also in the standalone DM4001 version, and count with 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces up to 32 E1s or 4 STM1s, depending on the model.
