DATACOM's Switch Product Line offers reliable and high performance solutions for Metro LAN environments. Fast, Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet on copper and fiber interfaces are available. DATACOM's multilayer Switches implement QoS, traffic control, high availability, safety, MPLS and L2/L3 wire speed switching.

This product line makes sub-rate operations possible. Several different types of interfaces (V.35, G.shdsl, E1, FXS, FXO, E&M, etc.) and the ability to cross connect timeslots are also available. Operates as a traffic concentrator, grooming and working as an interface to E1, E3 or SDH networks.

The DATACOM outdoor cabinets are equipments comprised of rectifiers, batteries, electrical protection against lightning strokes, and heat exchanger. It counts with physical space and infrastructure to receive the installation of telecommunication equipments of up to 4U height. With a compact design, it can be installed in lighting poles, walls inside garages our building underground pavements.

Datacom adds to the market one more pioneering product manufactured in Brazil. Following the growth of the use of Metro Ethernet networks and the demand for greater speed and quality in services and products, Datacom has developed an Ethernet Test Set, capable of executing a wide variety of tests, from cable diagnostic to RFC2544 tests, all hand-held.

DmView is DATACOM's Network Management System. It provides fault supervision, equipment configuration, provisioning, safety and performance management. It also allows the user to use different management topologies (from a centralized project with a server to redundant servers and multiples console accesses.

DATACOM´s optical protection switches are units designed to bypass a failed element in an optical ring, thus ensuring the continuation of redundancy of the optical ring application.
